I had my oil changed today at the garage done by a friend, who now owns his own business.

Basicly, i been noticing a few oil drops on drive for a few months, though nothing of it at first, but then looked under car and saw drips of oil, asked a colluege at work, and said could be a gasket.
while it was having the oil filter and new oil done, we invetigated it, and found that it was the head that was leaking oil.

my car is a 2005 '55' and done 82k.

is this normal for the car of its age, with the milage...

also had the car on the diagnostic for free, and came back with no faults Very Happy

thanks in advance

ABDUL

Sound like a small oil leak..you sure it's not just a rocker cover gasket?

It might just be a rocker cover leak. Tbh a lot of cars have small leaks. I'm sure you can either get a replacement gasket or just use some of the instant stuff.

You're supposed to do that in the car, not on it. You might dent the bonnet! Wink

From the bottom. Top is dry

Yh my mechanic said would be head

The car is a 2005 '55 on 82k. Seems odd a 5/6 year old car head would go.

the ET3 engine is not the best engine in terms of reliability in the PSA series anway....

wouldn't be suprise if the head is gone; and surely this is not the first time i have seen in here this year.
