i have taken the mechanism off the doors and swapped them over, the motors are working fine but the glass doesnt move, everything fitted fine. i took the face of the door winder off the new door off & put the face with the motor of mine onto & it, is there something else im must do for the windows to work, or can i not change them ocer like this?, motors are plugged in and work & they did before i took them off my old doors,
any ideas please s im a bit stumped to be honest

I think that the windows that come with electric motor is diff. than the manual one,so the clip may not be fixed, unless he swap the windows as well.

So you've swapped the regulators over then yeah and plugged them in? drilled the rivets out and re-riveted?

is there anything ive done wrong regards the swapping over of the mechanisms, all i did was un screw the 3 screws ( which was a nightmare!!!) on the window winer and the face comes off, then do the same on the electric one and screwed it up, then plugged everything in, slid the window down onto the clips and tried the switch, which works fine but nothing happens, i must stress that this was working fine before

Dude its been 30 minutes, dont be so impatient when bumping.
You need to swap the regulators over which are riveted on.

is it the thing with the kind of cog inside then there are 2 thick wires that are spooled around it then they connect to the window runners? as i have removed the face of this which had 3 phillips screws on the back which are a nightmare to remove , then fitted that to the manual winder window mechanism once i removed it, or have i got to remove the whole runners with the 4 rivets in etc, which i take it will then leave the door completeley bare inside?
