Hi all, having read the sticky thread and determined that I needed a
PC99-PIO and a pc99-x23 (preplex) to get the dash clock working with my pioneer head unit, I popped down to halfords to get the bits. Halfords didnt have a pc99-x23 and told me that this was the wrong adapter for my car anyway.
We went out to the car park armed with a bag of stereo removal tools and the stalk adapter catalogue, and fired my head unit out, the only cable behind my stereo that is not plugged into my head unit at present didn't look like it would fit any of the adapters, pc99-x23 or otherwise. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of wiring stalk adapter kit to a Roland Garros? Maybe the fact that it has aircon means that a different plug was used so the clock can display temps or something?

By the way, I took a snap of the plug whilst the head unit was out.

That is the plug for the CD changer. Do you have a remote socket on the back of your headunit? Looks like a 3.5mm Headphone jack. The remote wire goes in there, and the other part of it goes into the stalk wiring.

Ahh, thanks Steve,
I have a remote socket on my head unit. Where do I plug the other end that goes to the stalk wire then?

When you've plugged the cars audio wires into the back of your headunit, there should be another socket for the cars stalk.
