Alrighty there people. Basically the problem is that when raining or wiping the window, there is a smear that makes for horrendous visibility, i dont think its the wiper blades, more something on the screen itself. If you could give me a solution to curing this problem it would be excellent.
cheers

Best thing to clean glass with is watered down Vinegar and a Sheet of Newspaper. The last time I had a smear on my windscreen it was due to getting wax/polish on it.

is it drivers side right in the eye line of the car?
if yes its to do with how the windscreen is placed alot of them have this problem mine, mikey2uk's and a fair few others.
best bet is to treat the windscreen with RainX or something similar as this will aid the water flowing off the screen instead of sheeting on it.
only real way to correct the problem is by having a new windscreen fitted. i had mine replaced when it cracked and mentiond it to the fitter so he made sure he fitted it as best as he could to stop it re-occuring. i believe mikey got his replaced because of this too!

Correct I had mine replaced as it was a fault with the windscreen and became too dangerous to drive in the rain.

Didnt have problem asking for it to be replaced to be honest, just rang the insurance company (Adrain Flux) and they said yeah no problem.
The only problem I had was the first screen that came out was all scratch so had to rebook for a different day.
Depends who your insured with if they replace it or not.
