Hey, does anyone knowif its possible to put a 180 exhaust on a standard gti. Its had the spare wheel and cage taken off already.

No point mate it'll be rotten in a matter of months lol. Better off getting a custom one made with twin tailpipes.

can it be easily put on a normal GTi then? if yer then how much?
I know they rust but mines rotten anyway, instead of chrome its just rust, plus im trying to think of a cheaper way of gettin a twin one

god knows if it will fit.... i can see why not? same engine...... £250 its yours cat back...... your going to have to collect or pay for mega postage though

just realised how far away you are, get back to you as i may be coming up that way soon anyway.
still not sure how to fit it though as i assume the mounts are in different places to mine.

Just get a stainless steel replacement with a replica 180 tailpipe, that's what I did

The 180 want fit mate I worked for kwik fit for 3 yrs and fitted 2 janspeeds and there bore size it a lot bigger janspeed do a twin dat looks and sounds really nice my dad has a gti 180 that I fitted 1 2 and do have 2 say it does the job and the same on the gti not 2 sure how much they r now as of iv left but I would defo say look in 2 it b4 u get sumthink u can't wort think
And I'm lookin 4 sort bumpers and wings anythink goin guys let me no thanks and gd look mate

Pmsl na gone 2 a better place mate Rj tunnings we do drift cars track cars u name it we do it but never done a 206 yet did a very nice ph1 rally 4 a mate but if dats your 180 very very nice mate

I'd love to have a job at RJ Tunnings, especially working with drift cars and track cars you name it.

Yes the bore size is different but nothing a bit of fabrication can't fix. However, on a GTI if a cheap second hand cat back isn't available then go for a custom one. If you're getting a second hand GTI 180 one, go for Janspeed as it will save you losing your spare wheel.
