i am about to do an oil service on my 206 but the end of the dipstick has snapped is there any other way of working out if there's enough oil in the engine. how much oil does it require. its a 1.1 look

what does it say on your dials when you turn your ignition on? If it says you only have half, then put double in that comes out?
That may be a really stupid idea, I dont know lol

The oil level thing on the dials is the most inaccurate thing ever.....except the guy that predicted the rapture lol

Yeah lol, my oil level changes every time I start the engine.
Normally lower than it was before - which is pretty accurate, but sometimes it pleasantly surprises me!

mine always says its full, and then when the engines running, it never goes above 0 lol.

if you underfill it, it will hurt your engine, if you overfill it, it will hurt it just as much and you will need to drain some out, a dipstick is literally a few quid from a dealer and they close at 5.15 so you could still run down and get one, stop being so cheap and go to get one before draining the old oil out

As said above, Get one from a Pug dealer, you will be suprised by the price, alot cheaper than some on Ebay
