Hi guys and girls, yet more problems!
I got a puncture because of a screw, so I fitted my crappy space saver, I thought Id check the pressure of it with my little compressor. It said it was only 15 psi so I pumped it up to the recommended 60 psi. As I pulled the pump off the inside of the valve came with it and all the air rushed out.
I'm thinking that I'm now stuffed, can I get a valve from somewhere and are they easy to replace? The space saver didn't look very good anyway!
Thanks for your time
Andrew

you will need to remove the tyre to fit the valve anyway....
any tyre place could do that for around 7-10 pound per corner

It will if you move the front of the spare cage down to the lower set of fixing holes

simple, walk to nearest fitting garage, n give them a quid for the nipple out the valve, or like abovce get one of the screw pin drivers,, couple of quid form halfrauds,, n recycle some one elses pin
and as above, through the space saver away,, there usless, they dont last long,, and are in my eyes seriously unsafe,,
for instance, would u drive a nice big porsche carrara 4s thats got 18 inch ceramic brakes, 22 inch high alloy wheels 330mm wide,,, to be replaced with a bit of tyre 30mm,,, :0

The standard 206 wheel carrier will happily take a full size steel wheel if you move it down to the lower mounting holes on the chassis, thats why Peugeot put the extra holes in there for.
