When ever I start up my car there is a weird rattle kind of noise for literally 1-2 seconds, then is goes. It's only started doing it this week.. that I've noticed anyway.
Only way I can describe it really is as a rusty sounding rattle if that makes sense?

Also, another sound that's bugging me is a tapping/rattling sound as it's on tick over, and gets faster as I rev. It's not loud or anything jus want to know if anyone else has had it and knows what can potentially get rid of it.
God I hate unusual noises! Lol.
Thanks guys.

Manifold is a possibility as it was making a rattle a while back before I got it welded. However, it was a completely different rattle.
Besides the mani, is there anything else it could be?

Either manifold, olive clamp or baffles inside your middle silecer, that's what my ratte was mate hence the reason I got a powerflow cat back

it sounds like it's coming from the front of the car. besides, its a new mid silencer on there anyway as it come with a new cat and mid box.
could it be tappets or anything? saw another post just a sec ago about tappets needing changing.

Best thing to do is get under the car from the side and give the middle silencer a shake
