Having learned to drive vehicles with a crash g/box ( no synchromesh 1-2 -2-3 / 3-2 2-1 ) double clutching was the order of the day .
The pug box is synchromesh , but not very refined, lol
old habits die hard , i still double clutch , and have no probably's going up & down the box

When I'm driving around 5mph and slowing down, I am pushing the gear stick to gear 1 but it won't shift in until I eventually stop or around 1mph? It's annoying that I have to stop to get it in gear. |
100% normal, annoying but normal lol

I can easily get my car into first at any speed under than around 10mph, god n00bs learn to rev match!
Awaiting flaming, and people telling me I'm going to blow my box up into a bizzilion pieces, because I'm putting strain on it blah blahblahhhhh.
Been doing it since day 1 of owning the car, which is over 2 years ago now, and there's no sign of any box damage as yet.
