A few more problems I am finding after having my beloved car for a month.
A/C hasnt work since I got it..and now there are spots of water (at least I think its water) whenever I park up and drive away. I checked the water just and its gone down massively in a week. Also there is brown/white little spotty things in the water tank. Are the two problems connected?

I have 3 months warranty through a third party supplier. can anyone suggest what the problem could be? Is it major as I only have up to £200 cover per claim.

And to add - car is creaking at every opportunity.

When you say the A/C hasn't worked, do you mean the air doesn't get cold when you switch it on or just doesn't work full stop?

With regards to the water, or lack of it, there could be 2 problems here. Firstly it sounds like you have a small leak form a hose or the radiator or even the thermostat housing. Secondly, the brown/white spotty things you describe are typical of head gasket thats on its way out. It could also be the cause of the drips on the floor if its leaking outwards as well.

As for the warranty, £200 wont cover a head gasket replacement.
