looked in the manual but couldnt find it. but where is the fuse for the rear reversing lights? and is it in the engine bay fuse box or under the steering wheel fuse box?

no idea where the fuse is, but if you have no reversing lights and the bulb's are ok, it's probably because your gearbox switch has packed in.

Have you golt your owners handbook handy? Should be in there and able to find wih your year/spec quite easily
