Every so often my girlfriends 206 emits a bleeping noise.We've had the diagnostics checked but nothing shows.
It has happened once when I was driving and occured when I was only just moving and set off in 2nd so the car nearly stalled.I tried repeating this to see if I could get it to do it agin but no luck.
She says it does it when the amber low fuel light comes on but we can't see anything in the manual to this effect.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the replies so far.We are aware the bleep will sound when low on fuel but it does it even when there is over half a tank so cant be anything to do with the fuel gauge.
Also if the door was open this would show up on the dash and the internal light would flash.
it just seems to do it for no apparent reason!

Fill the petrol tank up, and reboot the BSI

The warning sound for the low fuel is normal when the amber light is on,and it work when you switch the ignition on,and everytime you use the car,the fuel goes lower,the bleeping comes faster,to warn you that you will be out of fuel soon.

Probably a silly question but what is the BSI and how do I reboot it?

Low brake fluid, but you also get the light on the dash flashing on.
