Hi all i'm a newbie to this site. I found it whilst googling a problem with my 206, but couldn't find a thread to match my problem.
I was driving on the motorway a couple of week ago, doing about 60mph when the car kind of lost power and was struggling to do 40. The car drives perfect up until the 35 mph mark or going up hills. (unless i have a bit of momentum) After search the internet for hours most people reckon its the Cataylic converter. Is this correct? It's a 1.1 2002 model. Any help would be much appreciated.

The EML didn't come on, but it was already on. It's said Anti Pollution fault for about 2 years now. The garage said he's checked the code on the computer for the anti pollution fault but it was fine. he reckoned it was a dodgy sensor. The anti pollution fault "eml" has since gone off.

if your rings are gone it probaly would be cheaper to change the engine really if you get a garage to do the rings it will cost you an arm and a leg
