Right peoples,
I have a big problem, the rear needs to drop more but the arm will be resting on the chassis stopping it
Is there a way round this?
Plus i will be removing the helper springs and winding her down fully, i already have the smallest possible tyres. The coilovers are racelands, is there a other coilovers that can go lower or will i need shorter springs?

front: yes, you will need shorter spring and make sure get the harder spring too.
rear: i don't know.

Don't know about the rear but on the front you could raise the top mount higher to go even lower (if that makes sense)

You can modify the mounts on most pugs to change the ride height. Specially on the olders ones, requires a fair bit of fabrication and often some welding on the car but it does the job.
Of course the arms wont move lower if they are already on the bumpstops and you dont remove them and work the chassis rail.

Ive removed the bump stops.....
So yes it will be on the chassis rail, but i dont quite get what you mean by 'you dont remove them'?

For example if the car was already on the bumpstops, and you modified the mounts to go lower, the car would not go lower cause it still has to sit on those bumpstops. Same if you've moved them and your sitting on the chassis rails. Get the welder out.

I removed them to go lower
So basically the chassis needs to be altered slightly, or could if the arm tubing (where they sit on the axle?) be extended/spaced to give that clearence?

How come you need to go lower than flush with chassis rail on the back anyway?
Surely the sill will be on the floor?

All sounds very dangerous being so low that bumpstops have to be removed.

im all for lowering your car but not when its going to make it unsafe to drive it!!!

wont necesarily make it unsafe.... just not very comfortable to drive and all your suspension bushes with seperate n die alot faster haha

If it's bumpy it means is has no suspension. That is what keeps the tyres on the road.
