HEY GUYS & GALS

It is back with the big guns failed its mot today have a look at this

 


the garage has said they WILL NOT do the bearing but will source me a replacment axle or i can source one and they will charge me £90 to do it all and fit theaxle i supply

best bit is tho i have just replaced both hand brake cables and rear pads and it is all tightened any tighter and i wont be able to pull the hndbrake

the axle is around £400

can anyone help me find the part numbers for the bearing please

The beams scrap if it wants the bearing replacing already Laughing

If its already had bearings replaced a year ago then it wasnt repaired correctly before.

Just throw a recon beam on it.

this is a right pain in the ass i got to be back at work on monday 13 miles away woop woop walking is gonna be fun lol i have been offered one from these online scrap yards but i dunno if to trust them or not

i think strip mine down and take a look at the beam will be in order i may get away with bearing but need to look first i cant afford a new axle atm

Which bit on that refers to a bearing? are you one about a rear wheel bearing?

will any 206 axle wit as long as it has discs ie gti, gti180, SW, CC

Disc axle from a SW, but you would need to change the TB's and ARB.

Just get another 180 axle, less hassle.
