hi everybody, recently my heater blower stopped working, i done a search on the problem, which made me belive that the fan motor had broken. I purchased a new blower unit an fitted it today but it still dosent work!!!! i have checked all fuses an all is good, so now im stumped can anybody give me any advice on my problem? cheers gareth.

Take the glovebox out [couple of torx screws]
Set the heating to recirculation [the slidy thing, to the right hand side], then you should be able to access it
Turn the resistor and pull it into the duct. Disconnect the wiring, and remove the resistor.
Then refitting is just the reverse, basically

hi lee, forgot to mention that i have the digital heater controls is this going to make a differance? as i cannot see the resister. thanks

There is no resistor on climate control models. The fans are specific to climate control models too. Buy a new one, not a used one. They fail all the time and there's a good chance a second hand fan won't last long.
AEP Direct do OE BEHR fans and tend to be cheapest.

hi edward, i did purchace a new climate control fan, but as ive said i plugged it in an no joy, so now im stuck to what i can do to solve my problem. Anybody any ideas? cheers gareth
