Somewhere along the line, the person that had my car before has taken the horn and airbag controls out, and put the horn on a small button on the right hand side near the headlamp dipper!
This is resulting in my indicator stalk not auto cancelling!
Any ideas on best fix? Is it a rewire or replace job??

Sounds like you need a new stalk, cheap enough off ebay.

Also sounds like the guy has snapped the horn and airbag spool. Check there's a bulb in the airbag light Wink

2000 gti, 137bhp, its standard stalk.
So the fact the gubbings have gone from the steering wheel wont affect the auto cancel and a new stalk should cure??
