hi all bought a 206 04 reg speedo and millage dont move but checked car out there's no speedo sensor on gear box blanked of so why is my speedo not working also changed clock no luck there please help .also done the road test drove car open door light flashes beeps .

No speed sensor?  you sure?
Open the door and start driving and see if the interior light flashes and/or you get a beeping noise

Then it has a speed sensor. Faulty cluster

it dont have a speed sensor its got a plug on it no wire nothing i looked in haynes manual it says som cars have sensor some have a plug later models

If the car is recognising you car is moving then it has a speed sensor. Some use the ABS ring

yesno sensor on gear box could be with abs sensor so what should i try to change abs speed sensor took it for a scan guy said no signal coming to dash

If he plugged the diagnostic stuff in, then he should have been able to read live data. If there is live data then its the cluster. If not, then its a sensor

im thinking the same a wheel speed sensor but which one there's no abs light on 2 air bag lights are on but car was in a crash and repaired before i bought it its a nice 1.1 exept speedo dont move or millage
