Hi, my 1.4 LX (2000 on W) almost cuts out when I accelerate when cold. It then picks up o.k. buy hiccups every time I have to press the accelerator after slowing down. As soon as it is up to temp it is fine. Any help gratefully received. Cheers.

Tried that, but now noticed the revs go up and down if I open the throttle a bit when stationary. If I try and hold the revs on 2000 for instance, they go to 2500, back to 1500, back to 2500 and so on. I am keeping my foot perfectly still but revs will not even out. Is this connected ?

Is it possible that an ECU reset could cure this, and is it worth doing anyway seeing as it is so easy to do ?

It's had one. About 1500 miles ago. Stood for 2 weeks and seems to be since that.
