I've recently bought a 206 52 reg with 103k Miles and yesterday the Check Engine light came on. I was confused as I'd lost no power and it still felt the same when driving.
I then turned the engine off, and waited and then when i turned it back on it stayed off, but after driving 20 odd miles it came back on so this morning i took it too the garage to see what the problem actually was.
The codes that I was given was p0300 and p0420... he didn't know whether it was a previous problem or not. But he did reset the light and said it was fine to drive.
I was just wondering whether anyone else had a similar problem... and how much it would cost to fix?...
I'm new to all this car stuff, so I wouldn't mind someone helping me
Thanks

P0420 is a cat or lambda fault ...
So how was it solved ... or hasn't it yet?
