The first two pics show the finished product of the lowering. In total it took me and my dad 2 hours from start to finish to get the ride height spot on for the rear. The coilovers only have 10mm of thread left before it sits on the arb mounting point.
The last pic shows how it sat when the back was dropped.

Yeh Craig, I've got a GTi spoiler going on when it goes into the bodyshop. Want it fitted properly, so bolted and tigerseal'd on.

Sits sweat as mate! Coilovers make it just right ! Just have to watch you dont damage your splitter on them speed bumps;s

Funny you say that bud, because I've got had a single problem with speedbumps so far. A big one going through town and a couple of medium sized ones going to the car parks. But what does get me is my driveway as it's got a slanted entrance to the driveway...even catch it if I go up at an angle.
