hi all

my country 206 (1.4, 1.6) comes with either 5-speed manual
or AL4 gearbox with tiptronic.

my country having 407, they are using AL4 too
and my place first batch 308 (vti and turbo) are using the AL4 too
(seems like AL4 is 'universal' and quite tough.. can handle the 308 turbo)

Later on, the 308 at my country is fitted with AL6 gearbox.

So i have a question in mind..
is the gearbox all the same?

so if there is 206 with AL4, can i change it to AL6?

thanks in advance everyone..

When I say impossible i mean AL4 to AL6 conversion. But I think you can use another AL4 but as Seabook said that different gear ratios and final drive will be problem.
