Hi,
The gearbox in my car whines when you de-accelerate, first it started in 5th and now mostly in all gears.
We found metal filings in the gearbox oil.
Ive recently had the clutch release bearing and clutch changed.
Someone has told me that it may well could be a input shaft bearing, that has gone.
Would it be better to just replace the gearbox? and maybe source one from a scrappy.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
