i get this sound whenever the engine is running but its very soft. i cant hear it when im driving, i can only hear it when im stationary and i lean my head forward to the steering wheel. i will then hear this constant whistling sound that will never cut.
it only cuts when i cut the engine then when i start the engine again it comes back, tested it at the drive way when i got home.
just really curious what is whistling the whole time.

Is it coming from the passenger side footwell?
If it is then im going with brake servo leaking air

It is brake servo gone it has little hole inside. I had whistling sound now is more like air clutch or brake on buses. When I touch brake just to make brake lamps on sound is gone. Newer the less brake is still working after almost 1 year.
