There cheap enough to buy new from any Peugeot / Citroen main dealer, part is normally in stock as they sell plenty due to idiots not greasing them up.

no cage on my 206 when i got it...just a seized bolt that was cable tied to stop it rattling...
was at scrappys earlier but no chance of getting 1 off due to rotten bolts being seized
picked up a spare with brand new tyre thats never seen the road (unless from the cage counts lol)..but had to mangle the cage to get wheel out
will nip to stealers and get the cage/bolt up then
so is the citroen cage the same fit then ???
cheers guys

Moral of this thread is:
If you own a PSA Peugeot / Citroen with a spare slung under the boot in a cradle then its a good idea to grease up the cradle bolt & hook if you want to be able to use your spare wheel in the future.
Copper grease FTW

I greased mine and every week I had to tighten the bolt. For the past six years the wheel has lived in the boot. Much safer and cleaner that way.
