hi this might be in the wrong section but my son tried to fit his new strutbrace to his cinq today but the holes dont line up with the strut bolts its a couple of mms out so i wondered if it would cause any problems if i drilled the holes a little bigger

If it's only 2mm then I'm sure you can drill the strut brace holes a little bit. Or can the strut top bolts be loosened and moved slightly?

its adjustable on the width so I cant see the problem without a photo

I had a Cinquecento Sporting when they first came out...best small car you could buy back then.
Couldn't be bothered driving it hard round country lanes because the bodyroll was a little off putting.

Completely different car but when i fitted a front fixed strutbrace to my Suzuki Swift GTi the holes where out by a few mm.
Solution was to jack the car up so the wheels where free from the ground, attach the brace to one side and then using something for leverage force it on the other side. with the wheel free from the ground you are able to get some movement in the suspension top mounts.
Dont really want to drill out the holes as this would surely defeat the objective of the strutbrace?? its meant to stop the movement in the top mounts.

its a 900 but he is making it handle better than a sporting with a strutbrace 50-70 kit sporting wheels(wider) and a lower arb
