would this be a straight swap with my current gti one?

no as above that is for plexed cars and secondly if anything them stalks are atually bigger than the ones you currently have

NO multiplexed stalks will fit your NON plexed 206 GTI.

Be thankful, there far cheaper & easier to fix when they go wrong Wink

You could always trade up to a multiplexed GTI in the future if you really want those stalks / all the extra standard toys the newer GTI's have.

I think that would be a first, changing cars as you dont like the steering wheel stalks Smile

haha yeh, I prefer the older ones like you have, and as said above they are MUCH cheaper to replace when they break.
