HI.today i noticed that "distance to gas station" page on MFD shows dashes.other pages show correct values.i disconnected MFD plug and reconnected but no help.a few hours later while driving suddenly the pointer dropped to E.and amber light illuminated .while tank was almost full.any help appreciated.

Try rebooting the BSI unit first, its most likely just a software glitch.

Speedo working ok?

ABS ( if fitted ) warning light not on?

Yes everythings fine except those related to fuel quantity.no ABS warning.

BSI reboot time then & if that doesnt cure it then its up with the rear seat & remove the plastic inspection cover to get at the sender unit.

Rebooted the bsi pointer came back to its actual position.but MFD still shows dashes when i select distance to gas station.
