Today my Peugeot 206 has kept on overheating and hitting 100 degrees.
It has only started doing this since yesterday, and all I did then was flush the system and pulled the bottom radiator hose off and filled it with anti freeze and coolant (from halfords). It seems to be doing this once I have done this.
Any ideas people? Could there be an air block or a dodgy thermostat?

I would also like to add that there is no water loss from the expansion tank and the oil is not creamy or anything.

I drained it all by disconnectin the bottom radiator pipe and bled it all.
Added Anti freeze etc and how do I bleed the system?
Could it be an air blockage in the pipes causing it to go up and then down etc etc because it only really seems to have started doin it since I drained it.

So obviously you've made a bollox when changing the coolant if it was working before.
Bleed screw on the thermostat and on the heater matrix, and also one on the block if you drained the whole coolant [or leave the coolant cap off and run the engine till it hits second stage cooling cycle]

there's an air lock in the system.
Remove the expansion tank cap, start the car, let it get up to operating temp so the thermostat opens, give it some good revs (up and down, no need to hold them) to speed the water pump up and squeese the top hose a lot forcing the air to move around the system.
If its working you should see air bubbles come from the expansion tank and the water level drop. Keep topping it up as needed 
Always works for me, takes about 5 mins once its at operating temp

Replacedthe thermostat and it is sitting at a temperature of 90 degrees.
If not this then I reckon my headgasket has gone.

Well its on 90 degrees which is half way, used to sit on about 80 and not move.
Sometimes it shoots up into the red, I have a feeling my cooling fan has messed up and the sensors are not working?

From what I have just read there could be a problem with the low speed cooling fan?

It depends on what engine you have,
but for instance the 1.4 petrol should sit at 90c when idleing and between 80 and 90 when driving around. The fan comes on at just above 90 and goes off just below 90

Yea I have a 1.4 petrol and it is now sitting at about 80-90 while driving now.
Just before ie was on about 70_80
