yeah it does, Lee got my a battery like you say and it cost me about £15 i think HA.
Good on him for letting me use it.

You could always use eurocarparts, normally cheap and they have 25% for web orders for those that don't have a trade account.
Bosch fuel filter £7.02, gutman is a few pence more.
Pollen filter £5.94
Sparkplugs Bosch super £3.00 each
oilfilter £4.14 (Mann, gutman is cheaper)
5 Litres shell helix ultra 5w40 £38
If you need any brake parts theyre 30% off at the moment
These are all the service bits for my Gti 180 so I assume there will be some price difference between models.

National Tyres do oil and filter for £30.60 using Magnatec
also on their site is a voucher for 10% off

Europarts were quite expensive.,,

Found a trade place near to me - oil filter £7.12, air filter £6.41, cabin filter £5.68, 5L oil £21.53, all in stock.

The only problem with people doing your service, are you sure they done it right? Are the nuts tighten enough, did they use the right oil seal? after going round and checking after them, may aswell do it yourself just as peace of mind!
