I think I've has a bump or knock and my rear bumper is slanted slightly on one side. Can't really notice it unless you really look but I know it's there and it is bugging me. I know it's not doing any harm and it's not effecting my drive. So what can I do? Do I need to take the whole bumper off and re fit it or is there an easier way?

Get a picture? sounds like the metal has belt behind the bumper and pulling it back.

could just take it off and look underneath, easy job if you have a socket set

Even i think thts fancy, when i was stripping my car all of my tools were in a clarks shoe box

Just love the way you list hammer first.
A socket set isn't fancy, it's essential along with spanners, various screwdrivers, pliers.
Just buy a cheap tool kit from Argos. For the work you do on your car, you don't need the expensive stuff, just something that will do the job.
Before people start with the "buy cheap buy twice" it's not like they are going to be used for major repairs. It's Alana, she doesn't know one end of a screwdriver from the other.

That is true, my dad bought me a good tool box for xmas. I know the difference between a flat head screw driver and a phillips thank you The only thing I feel compitent doing to my car is changing the rear lights, I wouldnt even know how to change the front ones and changing the fuel cap. I'm even worried about when my wind deflectors come if I can manage to fit them!
