I'm looking at buying some gti bumpers and i'm just wondering can you get gti's in paint code exl.
I've brought a spoiler for it in the the paint code exy fitted it but it just stood out to much and looked werid and had to get it re-sprayed in the end.
Will i have to do this for everything or is my paintcode common and i can get parts for it without spending alot on paint?

Even if its the same code doesn't mean it will match as each code has differnt variants, best to get resprayed imo

Plus paints have different shades compared to how its stored and what its been through! IE sun, salt and rain, also how much you protect the paint!

I'm also having a hard time finding parts in EXL.
@Warren, does it really stand out a lot having an EXY part on a EXL based car?

It's quite a rare colour. Also comparing my car next to other EXL coloured 206s, they often look completely different shades so it's best to get it colour match sprayed as said above.

@GTW206 surprisingly it does stand out quite alot i put a exy spoiler on it and you can clearly see the difference so i got sprayed. Might have to do that with the rest of the parts

ive.got gti180 bumpers and gti wings on my car and it.looks spot in to me. if your car is clean enough and well looked after you will hardly notice.

Not true, mine used to be very very clean and there are still 5 shades of china blue on my car! haha!

Why cant they just make it easy and use standard colours like black, blue, red, green but no they have to complicate things and have tuscany green, Pharoah Gold, blonde girls blue eyes, nans yellowy toenail! It's a bit annoying.

Because if they did that there wouldn't be colours like green with gold flip.
