My N/S track rod end is seized, so far I've tried soaking it in WD40 the night before, heating it up with a blow lamp and then throwing cold water on it, clamping the track rod in moles grips and using an axle stand to support this whilst I smack another set of adjustables attached to the track rod end.
So far nothing has managed to shift it, has anyone got any ideas?
I thought about taking it to a garage next time there's a cheap tracking offer on, but last time I tried this with a Punto with a similar problem they told me i needed a new steering rack! (I did manage to free this one using the above steps)

Try halfords shock and unlock spray, then try to tap other end of the spanner gently to undo the bolt

If all else fails then disconnect it from the hub and carefully use an angle grinder to grind down either side where the threaded portion is but keep checking and be ready to stop the instant you see the first signs of any thread. That'll release most of the tension and then it will unscrew. Takes about 10mins but you'll need a new track rod end so get that first

If you have heated it already you will need to replace it anyway so I would heat it up as quickly as possible and try the mole grip and adjustables again while its hot.... remember to clean up the thread after

I had mire replaced last week. The garage had to do the above.

My mechanic friend had to use an angle grider on the nut like others have said go slowly and you should be fine
