nay i guess people dont want to stand on the regional organisers feet, im sure once they see this somebody will get something going.

they are area reps, not organisers. They are there to help out with making sure locations are suitable and to give help to the person organising the meet. There is nothing stopping anyone on here organising something, even if it's just a meet at a McDonalds.
I thought the club christmas meet that Dave was sorting was over Yorkshire way

Anyone is more than welcome to arrange a meet for our area, Just because me and Sam are reps it does not mean that only we arrange them, we just make sure they happen and get as many members involved as we can to help the OP along with it 
Im actually in the process of getting something sorted but i have not heard any info back from what im planning yet so be my guest and get something planned

You take stand and organise it. 
Pretty simple.
1. Choose a place, time and date.
2. Post it up on here.
3. Keep interest in the thread.
4. Attend and take lots of pics.
