This has Been asked many times before am sure but am crap as searching fourms
just woundering whats the best size spacers to get on a X reg gti with sp archs on the standard nimrod wheels
any issues or problems which these above a size etc

I had 20mm spacers on the rear with 16" nimrods with 195/40/16 tyres. It was lowered so the tyres JUST about sat in the arch and is JUST about scraped when going over a bump or cornering fast.
So depenind on how low your suspension is what tyres and wheel sizes you have, 15mm should be fine
You can also get the rear arches 'rolled' or even do a DIY job if you're up for it

its due to be sat on the 16" wheels just so the bottom of the arch will be level with the top of the trye but i have coilovers so fairly firm car looking for spacers there enough to look for but was having problems finding the standard peugeot longer wheel bolts

where is the best place for longer wheel bolts to use with wheel spacers as because the standard wheel bolt are flat seated its hard to find ?

ha ha know i mean from what i searched the info and photo's provided look nothing like the bolts for the standard wheels as the standard bolts and flat set where as most other cars have tapered bolts to seat in the bowl of the alloy
