Not fully sure... However IIRC: where the switch is to move the mirrors, there is an A. Pull the switch down to that A .

I remember asking the exact same questions when I first bought my GTi 180.
To make the mirrors fold in - where the switch is to adjust the mirrors, you have to turn it left to adjust the left mirror and right to adjust the right mirror. You need to twist that little switch 180 degreees, so it's little white arrow is facing to the rear of the car

After having driven it for most of the night last night I love it :L It's so responsive, really quick in every gear basically and with the seats I'm in pure comfort! it looks really nice compared to my other car too, with angel eyes, some rear lights (don't know what they are) and the SP grill and all
How much is the cambelt to fix/change?
and not sure on the damage, the guy I bought it from said repairs were done elsewhere so he couldn't tell me anything
does it matter about it having been in a crash? I mean I can't see anything at all, no scratches, dents or anything, just one panel by he door is a TINY bit out of place haha |
If it has had a good quality repair then no it doesnt matter.
I assume there are no knocks or bangs from it?
Have you had a look underneath to see if everythings straight and what not?
If all is good then you've got your self a good car at good money...just try not to hammer it to much

Aw thank you I'll have a look later! I did put them in manually last night though for the first night, would that have damaged them? I didn't know they were electric :/
and nope no noises or anything, just the power of the engine I havent looked underneath yet, tbh I'm not sure what I'd be looking for, but I bought it from a garage and he said it's all fine when he looked it over, he did an MOT on it and all, he just didn't know what had been repaired

Just for your info, I just baught a car that had a fresh MOT that had 4 bald tyres and no brakes

It feels completely fine there is a slight noise from the engine, but i think that might just be because it's powerful and i'm used to 1.2 cars :L
brakes are actually good on it! when I picked it up yesterday I thought holy s**t I can't drive this :L but after having a few hours driving I actually quite like it, seats are comfy, car looks nice, it picks up great!
only thing I miss is my exhaust on my old car

i loved my 180 every day i owned it until the day i sold it for more power, only thing i had to change was clutch and that 1 is a common problem but also partly driver error.... and screw getting slated for being french there good, and in my case when your glued to a mk2 RS you don't get to much stick

Oh s**t, really? Hmm, I don't think they're supposed to go in manually to be honest mate. Very, very expensive to replace! Hopefully they'll be alright thou

Yeah I just put them in because people around here will hit them off :/ Meh hopefully, I'll give them a try later. Its the button by the handbrake right? I suppose if they dont work it's not too much of a bother, but wish I hadn't done it :/
