well seen as it's a new car isuppose i better make one of these rather than clutter up the forums with multiple threads about it so here goes:

i bought this car on a saturday ( cant remember how long ago lol ) after ringing up the garage on friday to say i'd be coming over the water to pick it up. The garage was more than helpful in organising this and even waiting back for me the earliest ferry i could get was still going to arrive after their closing time Smile

some details before we go onto the pics

She's a Veccy SRi XPNav with the 1.9 CDTi 150 bhp motor
She's got the XP2 kit as there's the bodykit and the 19" snowflakes which are 235/35/19 tyres Crying or Very sad

Options i can think of as follows:
*CD70 (cd player, Blueetooth phone and satnav all rolled into one)
*Parking sensors front and rear
*Cruise control
* i'm sure there's more but i cant think of the top of my head lol

all for the satisfying price of 7,500 Very Happy

this is the car completely unmolested at her first showing: The summer camp meet

needless to say she dwarfed everything that was there and even when it was parked right back in the trees nearly hanging over the edge the nose still stood proud of everyone else lol

Me trying for the SOTM lol

i drove her round for over a month and decided that i couldn't stand how silent she was even on full poke so i drove up to glasgow straight after an 8 hour night shift to a place called Meercat Exhausts

these guys were awesome not only did they manage to squeeze my appointment in they also told me to go to sleep as they didn't want me tired on the drive back and bought me a cheeseburger Very Happy
needless to say i will be back to finish her off with them ^_^

as there's a lot of exhaust and two cats to remove still i settled for the cat back, cause the rear of the car was what i wanted to look diffirent more than the sound if i'm honest

as you can see the slotted diffuser was still in as i was waiting for the VXR diffuser i bought to arrive but it didn't turn up in time

old zorst

new zorst Very Happy

as you can see the welding is utter top class so that £310 was worth every penny Smile

if you can pick it out from the road noise this is a rolling video Smile
Rolling Exhaust Run

now as shifts stop me from doing anything (anda trip down to london ) this has taken a bit longer than i wanted to do

CC'd front and rear strips... now i know the badge has been done and i didn't know they were doing that, but as they have painted straight over it removing it (as mentioned by Tomd) would pull some paint off aswell :L so it'll have to sit for now

unfortunatly the rear diffuser yet again refused to budge as it's held in by the back skirt, the bodyshop tried to remove it and said that if they did manage to remove it it would either snap the skirt or crack the rear bumper so i need a new skirt before they attemp to remove it to put the cut out in.... Gutted...

currently in the post are a set of number plate holders as i want plates at some point soon and a pot of Fusion green high temp paint for the calipers. Now here comes the question:

what do you guys think about the chrome under the windows... black? or green to match the calipers?

AND...

the little chrome strips inside should i do them green aswell?

Thanks for reading and hopefully as i'm in a better job i'll keep the updates coming smoothly Smile
