I've been racking up some miles due to work recently and I've noticed when travelling at approx 70mph my car "hiccups" intermitantly, I've been advised that it could be the sparkplugs thats causing the missfire?
I've also noticed a higher than normal engine temperature, it wasn't until I checked the coolant reservoir that I realised it was empty, I'm aware there could be a leak, to test this is it okay to refill the reservoir using coolant straight away or will it cause an airlock?

If it does cause an airlock, it wont take 2 mins to sort out.

I've located a Halfords near work so I'm going to swing by and purchase some coolant, I'll let the engine cool then top her up, how do I go about fixing an airlock, and can I do it on my carpark at work or do I need tools?
