Hi everyone. The buttons on the remote key fob were worn out so I bought a new shell off ebay. I swapped the blade and circuit board over and the new key locks & unlocks the car but there must be a problem with the immobiliser as the car turns over but will not start. The spare key still starts the car as normal.

Any ideas ?

hi, when you swapped the board over, did you swap the black chip too? if not make sure you can find it, as you won't be able to use the plip without it.

What She Said
You need the transponder in the new flip key, just a small black chip transfered to then at should be ok Wink

When you open the fob, the transponder chip is in the side that holds the key blade, small & grey, remove with care.
