Yesterday i was fitting front coilovers and my driveshaft popped out on the left side (passenger) and oil went everywhere. i pushed it back in but just need to know if that is all i need to doo, besides topping up the oil. or do i need to do anything else??

Pop it back in and top up with oil and you should be fine

just watch for leaks as sometimes you can nick the oil seal
