I wonder how much fuel efficiency you lose from those bits that stick up. I heard that roof racks make a significant difference and they are way more aerodynamic than the bonnet bra things.

i lost 15mpg when driving with 2 bikes on a roof rack :0

What I don't understand is people spend time & money making their car look nice then cover it up with that hideous thing, when they could put a transparent film on instead that'll near on invisibly protect the paint while still showing off the car in its full glory.

If you do a lot of motorway miles it's not a bad investment, otherwise they do more harm than good.

b******s. In your "had a bad idea" thread is the real photo and the colour of your car is nothing like that above. Crap camara or not. You have adjusted the colour that much you've turned a green tree red.

Id prefer to have a bonnet bra rather than having my car covered in shrink wrap tbh

Yeah its a great investment just for motorways and i personally think its gave it a great look but yes will be coming off as soon as its at shows

Cheers for the comments guys, mixed opinions but great responses as always Very Happy

What's the point of repainting the bonnet if you're going to hide it every other day apart from shows.. Seems a waste :S
