Wanting to wire my sidelights in with my interior light so when i unlock the car the sidelights come on.
Does anyone know which wire at the stalk i need to be tapping into, or can i go to the fuse box?
Any help greatly appreciated

My mates st does that, trying to work out the point of it.
To find the Wire just get multimeter on the stalk, will take
2mins to do.

I cant get the multimeter in there without taking the plug out, i was hoping someone might have a wiring disgram and know which colour the right wire is.

A lot of new cars do this now, so it could be a case of keeping up with the Jones as they say

It's to find your car in a car park
And yes you can easily get a multimeter in there. +12v on the sidelight circuit would turn the ignition on, so you need to protect with a diode.

UPDATE, the positive wire for the sidelights is the light blue cable on the left hand multiplug for the stalks.
However when the doors are shut and interior light fades the sidelights remain on, i know its the right wire from the interior light as im using it for footwell lights already.
anyone know whats going on here?

That's because it uses a capacitor in the BSI for the earth

On my 206 and 307 if you push the lock button when the cars locked the amber lights flash. That's how I find my car in a car park lol I thought that's what it was for lol

I just use my memory and remember where I parked it. Much easier and you don't feel like a fool.

This is true but not everyone is as good as you lee lol my memory is well bad lol
