I dont know what that even is, is there a way round this?
confused as the footwell LED's go offonce the doors are shut but the sidelights dont yet there connected the same way

You've got to be close to your car to use the remote anyway so turning your head from side to side to find a car that you recognise as yours isn't that much effort.
Just fit one of these and connect it up to the battery before you leave the car. You'll be able to spot where you parked from even further away.

And yes you can easily get a multimeter in there. +12v on the sidelight circuit would turn the ignition on, so you need to protect with a diode. |
On my 206 and 307 if you push the lock button when the cars locked the amber lights flash. That's how I find my car in a car park lol I thought that's what it was for lol |
Interior light will comes on as well

Wasn't this a feature on some 206's? or perhaps it was the headlights not sidelights "follow me home" or something.. For seeing your way to your door in the dark..?
Could be completely wrong and it's a different car I'm thinking of.

Flash main beam after removing ignition key will put the dipped headlamps on for 30 seconds.

4 pin relay - switch and +12v pins to a constant +12v, output to sidelights, earth to BSI earth. Protect existing circuit with diodes

The time the follow you home headlamps stay on for depends on the BSI SOFTWARE VERSION installed on the car

Switch and +12vpins to pernament live at the ignition, output to sidelights (blue wire at stalk)
is the bsi earth the what im getting from the interior light?
I want to be sure as iv never used a relay before, also does anyone have a link for a suitable diode and where should i put them?
