I think its fair. What could you do with £1500? Maybe a holiday to America or something thats going to be once and once only or spend the 1500 on throttle bodies and the ECU, and having something you can enjoy everyday until you get bored/sell/change cars? I know which one id choose!
Someone can clarify, but these could work too? Might go cheap.
