Will also be a fail if the airbag warning light is on / not working or doesnt go through the correct check sequence at start up Wink

Plus the Citroen DS3 airbag is only single stage & the multplexed 206 needs a dual stage airbag so even electrically the Citroen airbag is no good Laughing

I also thought about getting the DS3 steering wheel.

You won't use the citroen cover and airbag. You will use your existing cover and airbag. My local Peugeot dealership told me it can be transfered like that

Can't you remove the airbag from the cover and fit it inside the DS3 cover?

would that be advisable? depending on the strength of the covers, the airbags could be of different design type? So it could effect what happens if you crash and need the airbag?

What He Said

That's what I asked 2 Peugeot dealerships in Cape Town and both said it can be done.
