Hi, I have a yellow / amber light at top left of dash which is to the left of the airbag light and comes on with ignition and goes off but then comes back on and stays on constantly,

The symbol is of 2 seated people with seatbelts and possible side airbags either side

sorry about crap pic but it shows where the light is (top left)

there's 2 plugs under each front seat on non plexed 206's for the side airbags.

The other plug you need to check is the red one.

Probably the "squib" .. yes, that's what it's called. It's a part behind the steering wheel. It's not too hard to change, but it's 'kin expensive if you've got a multiplex model! Shocked

You can't possibly say that without it being fault code read.

And it's non-plexed by the looks of it.

Is there any way to deactivate the light without a fix because its irritating me?

I've come from a car with just front airbags so I don't really care if the side ones don't work.
