Basically as it says folks, parked up last night as per normal and come out this morning pulling away it kept clunking like it was ceased on and then came undone seemed okay but i was cautious none the less, later on when turning in the road it done it again, without this time the handbrake being applied. the travel in the handbrake seems awfully long compared to 24hrs ago and also the travel of the foot brake until it bites is awfully long also. brakes have been awesome up until this point though i have done 10,000 since i bought the car back in march.
Can anyone shed some light on this.

If you had searched you would have found the most likely reason.
The brake shoe friction material has more than likely come away from the shoe itself. You will need a new set of brake shoes and new hub nuts. Possibly new wheel bearings if they fall apart when you remove the drum. You may also have popped a wheel cylinder piston out depending on how far the shoes have moved when you have applied the brakes.

Gonna be the normal / common 206 lack of proper care on the rear brakes issue.
New set of rear brake shoes & possible a new set of rear wheel cylinders.
