Hi,
i have a 2001 peugeot 206, i got in the car today and when i put my foot on the clutch it clicked when pushed all the way down. I put it in gear, but when at some traffic lights the clutch was stuck half way down and i couldn't move the gears at all. I turns the car on and off and was able to move everything again, but found the same thing happen as i tried to get home?
I have had no warning signs for this problem at all!
Any help on what you think it might be would be great, as i don't wanna get mugged off by the mechanic!
Thanks,
Vicky

Release bearing collapsed or collapsing
Happened to my old pug, had to have a new clutch.
Can be expensive, can be cheap, shop around.

Clutch kit will include new release bearing. Make sure you replace the guide the bearing sits on too, they're only a tenner. The bearing may well of siezed onto it.
I paid 75 for a LUK kit - trade price. and £100 cash for fitting. That's cheap for a quality clutch.
