If you want to do the job again in 6 months then buy it. To get the same parts from Peugeot will cost around £50. What does that tell you about the quality.

Just one side.
For things like that, it's always better going to the dealer. Might cost a bit more, but at least you know that it's made from real metal and not just been machined out of any old scrap.

The dealer parts for that job are a fair bit dearer. I wouldn't buy cheap bearings for anything. They aren't a component that you can get away with a cheap version of!
If i remember correctly you need two different sized bearings to do both sides of the axle.

This 206 IS going on a trackday despite it's every effort to stay at home in the garage!

i will get my mechanic to get them for me, had an advisory on mot in july about small amount of play on o/s arm.
plan to lower the rear, via removing the arms as my torsion bars wont come out. so thought as im taking them off i might as well replace the bearings.

Try carparts4less.co.uk ... cheaper than EuroCarParts. I've got one for an Alfa 156 on order. Someone who bought the Orbis hub kit for same car found the bearings were SKF .. and they are one of the largest manufacturers.
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Im in the bearing business, and wouldnt sell them in my shop

Get branded ones, like SKF. A bit more money, but will last longer..

Looks like a permanent 25% discount on their site.

My 156 bearing arrived .. Lucas part, even though it said Orbis on the web site and order! Still it was a lot cheaper than most!
