i need to change the steering coloum on my 2001 hdi, how do i go about removing the airbag?
i know i'll need to disconnect the battery but as i'll be leaving it off for a while will it cause any probs with the immobiliser etc?
i've read in the handbook something about the key needing recoding after a battery swap is this so?
also is there any way other than going to peugeot to find the radio code, its working fine atm but probably wont after removing the battery and i dont have the code(just bought the car)
sorry for the simple q's but i'm more used to working on my old 205.....
thanks craig

Remove battery for 10 mins
Take off steering cowling
Turn steering wheel 90degrees and undo torx screws
Airbag will come out
For radio code - www.paypal.com/cgi-bin...ostedGuest
